How do you get paid for just asking questions?
Not all the questions that you ask earns you money. You earn only from the questions that generate revenue when a user engages with the ads shown inside the question.
So, Quora is basically sharing the revenue generated through your questions. However, there is no clarity on when a question will earn more money, and when it will not.
For example:
A question with just 100 views can earn $10, while another question that drives 10,000 views with 100% external traffic can earn $0.50.
Many speculate that questions earn more money when it gets ad clicks. However, there is no clarity on this.
Is it enough if you just ask questions?
No. You also need to make sure that your questions get answers. To get answers, you can request people on the platform.
There is an option to request answers, and for every question, you can request 25 answers per day.
Based on the conversion rate, your limit of 25 per day can decrease at times.
So, you need to make sure you don’t send too many requests at a time.
Are there any other means to earn within the Quora Partner Program?
Quora used to compensate people for requesting answers to questions. This way, they can make sure that there are no empty questions on the platform and also get more answers to the already performing questions.
However, currently, they have stopped compensating for requesting answers.
And you can earn only by asking questions.
Can you show me the whole process?
Once you are invited and accepted in the Quora Partner Program, you will find a new section for Partners.
You can navigate to Partner’s section by clicking on your profile and selecting, “Partners” as shown below.
Once you land on the Partner’s dashboard, you will find three sections.
Section 1 is where you will find information about the Program, guidelines, Payment setup, and analytics.
Under Section 2 you will find your questions, your earnings summary.
In section 3 you see the average earnings per question and how much the Top earners are making per week.
Now let’s see how you can go ahead and add a question.
To add a question, you need to click add questions either from the home page or within your QPP dashboard.
Then you will find the usual window with some specific instruction for Quora Partners.
Type your question in the box and click Add Question.
If your question if free of grammatical errors, you will be taken to the next step.
In the second step, you will have to assign topics relevant to your question.
This will help your questions to reach the right audience.
Once you have added the topics, the next step is to request answers.
You will get suggestions from the topics that you have listed and you can click the plus button to send requests to writers.
That’s it you have successfully added your question.
It may look like a big process but once you get a hang of it, it will be quick and easy.
Now let’s take a look at the analytics section in your Quora Partner’s dashboard.
This section will give you an idea of the best performing questions grouped by earning range.
Question Insights will be beneficial if you are just getting started because you will understand what type of questions to ask.
Sometime you will also find some similarity between performing questions, and that can become a massive plus while coming up with questions.
Tip: Make sure to filter by “Month Ago” because the policy would have changed a lot in one year. So, what worked one year ago may not work now.
There is also another section to get topic ideas. The suggestion section will show you some topics that need more questions and many times you will find topics that you know very well.
In general, the Quora Partner Program dashboard is simple and user friendly.
Now let’s look at the most important question.
How to Join Quora Partner Program?
Currently, you can join Quora Partner Program only if you get an invite directly from Quora. There is no other way to get into the program.
In the beginning, the members of the Quora Partner Program had an option to invite people to the program. However, the option is not available anymore.
In addition to that, there are no requirements specified by Quora to get an invitation.
The best option would be to drop an email to Quora and check if you can get invited.
Are all countries eligible to join the program?
No.

Can I join the Quora Partner Program in more than one language?
Yes, some people are partners in two languages. However, you will need to be invited separately for each language.
Is the Quora Partner Program worth your time?
Yes, it is definitely worth your time if you ask quality questions that are not on the platform.
However, it’s quite hard for people to come up with questions that are not asked on the platform without doing proper research.
If you are good at keyword research and finding quality questions that are not asked on the platform, you can make a good fortune with the Quora Partner Program.
I asked around 3000 questions in total, and it took me about three months to reach that mark.
On average, I spend 30 minutes asking 30 to 35 questions per day.
I spent around 45 hours in total to earn $2000 in total.
That equates to making around $45 per hour approximately.
Some make $45 per hour, maybe less, but I am grateful for the opportunity that Quora has provided me.
So, Quora Partner Program was definitely worth my time.
There are some recent changes to their policy, and the earnings have drastically decreased for the majority of the partners.
So, at this moment, I feel investing more time on Quora space is better than the Quora Partner Program.
Also, there is speculation that anyone will be able to create a space. So, if you cannot create a space, it is still a good idea to do some research and keep you updated.

What are some tips for asking questions on Quora?
I will share my strategy to come up with questions on Quora.
You should target questions that drive external traffic, and in that way, you can earn more money.
As per their new policy, questions that drive external traffic are compensated more than the questions that drive internal traffic.
How to find questions that drive external traffic?
You can find questions that drive external traffic by using keyword research tools like UberSuggest, SEMRUSH, etc.
Most of these tools have a free version, and you can use that to do your analysis.
The second idea to ask is to find trending questions from other platforms like Reddit, which can potentially become a search phrase on Google.
How many questions can you ask on Quora?
You can ask an unlimited number of questions on Quora.
However, you need to make sure those questions are not templated. Recently quora had asked people not to use template questions, and repeat offenders can get into trouble.
Also, one of the users claimed that there is a daily limit of 1000 questions per day, which I am not aware of since that’s so much to ask in one day.
Why do your questions get merged?
Quora does not pay for the questions that get merged.
The reason is that it is already available on the platform, and a duplicate version of the same question does not add any value to the platform.
In fact, it will affect Quora from an SEO standpoint. Hence, most of the time, you will see the Quora content merge AI bot, combining duplicate questions time and again.
I agree that the AI bot sometimes merges the question incorrectly, but you can’t do much on that part.
The only option is to go ahead and unmerge the question if it is different from the other one.
How do I avoid questions getting merged?
A few months back, Quora introduced a new feature where users are notified if the question is already asked.
This is great because you know the question is already available on the platform, and you can skip it immediately.
You will also be notified of any spelling or grammatical mistakes, if any, which is cool, and it will reduce question modification suggestions.
Overall they are introducing a lot of cool features that will reduce your time and help you invest your time in researching quality questions.
How do you withdraw money from your Quora Partner Program account?
Quora provides two options to withdraw your money.
If you are living in the U.S., you need to use a stripe account to withdraw the money, and if you are living outside the U.S., you can withdraw using your PayPal account.
Please note that to receive payment through PayPal, you need a business account. You are eligible to have one personal and one business account on PayPal.
So, if you do not have a business PayPal account, go ahead and create it.
Also, there is a minimum payout threshold of $10 to withdraw your money to your account.
Once your balance reaches the minimum threshold, the money will be transferred to your PayPal or Stripe account on the first Monday of every month.
How do you connect your PayPal account to Quora?
You can connect your PayPal account to Quora directly from the Quora Partner Program dashboard.
Once you click on Update PayPal, you will be redirected to the PayPal login page.
From there, all you need to do is, log in to your PayPal account and authorize Quora to send you money.
How do you opt-out of the Quora Partner Program?
You need to write an email to Quora Partner’s team to be taken out of the program.

If you can spend a good amount of time in research and focus completely on Quora Partner Program, it can definitely make you a decent income.
However, since there is no guarantee that the program will be there for the longterm, it is wise not to invest all your time in asking questions.
I would rather recommend you to look at this opportunity as a side hustle and not a full-time job.
